Illusorily Inconsiderable Investment Update

On July 20, 2005 Geo Gramma K and I thought we would try our hand at geocaching. We picked 3, I thought they were all virtual caches. It was only after we started to log our successful day that I noticed the icon on the page that tells you the type of cache your doing wasn't the little ghost guy, but was an actual box. So we didn't get to claim Illusorily Inconciderable Investment then. Instead we created this blog to share our adventures, whether successful or not. And though we technically didn't finish this cache correctly, we were certain we were in the right location so we took pictures of us there, at the time we thought we had done it correctly and were taking pictures of our success. In fact, the above picture was taken on our first day out at this location and the cache we found tonight was under those windows in the junipers below.

We had gone out to eat at the Golden Yan in Prosser and decided that we should finish up the Illusorily cache. The Geo Grampa's agreed to come along and see what we have gotten ourselves into.

We Grammas had a very strong feeling that we had been close to the cache on our first visit, so everyone started looking through the junipers.

It was Geo Gramma K who found it.

We gathered around to see what was inside the box

And Boy was it loaded with goodies!! We took Grover and left a hand sanitizing lotion. Note to Selves: we need to get some goodies to leave.

What Do You Do When It's 102?

Don't know about you
but us Geo Grammas go Huntin'

Today we are after the elusive Multi-Cache.
We took an Afternoon Walk along the Columbia River in West Pasco, Washington.

After spending some time in the bush doing some serious poking and wacking, Geo Gramma K was certain she had located it. She bravely confronted the infamous Spider Guard.

At last the treasure was unearthed for all to see.
Note to selves: next time take photo of contents.

As we were making our way back to the trusty Jeep our good fortune continued, we found the mystical survey marker that had been spotted in the area earlier.
